However, I ordered a salmon and cream cheese bagel and received a room temperature bagel that was not toasted and sort of on the flaky side (not very fresh). Our server, Sylvain was personable and helpful recommending a Sancerre that was crisp and fresh. Table ronde trop grande pour 4 personnes pas propice pour parler et c'était bruyant.Excellent repas, cuisine classique très bien exécutée, savoureux. Legendary chef Daniel Boulud created his namesake Maison Boulud to reinterpret French classics. The squid was well cooked and melting in your mouth. We have been clients there for over 30 years and the new set-up is a beautiful improvement: not stuffy nor snob, just nice, relax and still with the class you expect from the Ritz.Quite pricy but totally worth it. We unfortunately had a server both mornings that seemed to have other tasked more important...Hands down one of favourite restaurants in Montreal. Do you mean 2016? We had the razor clams appetizer, the nimbus and grande madame cocktails, a few glasses of wine, the scallop entree and the steak entree with potatoes and vegetables as a side, and the lava cake for dessert, and all exceeded our expectations.
It took valet parking services about 20 to 25 minutes to bring my car back. Very low noise level. Yes it is french, the service is still friendly enough, and the food outstanding.
