Claire and her husband find themselves moving back into Claire's childhood home only to have the abusive and traumatic memories of her mother come back to haunt her. It was slightly disappointing compared with how I recalled. However, they are constantly tormented by a mouse within the walls. This is a delightful British comedy, which I first saw at the cinema at the time of its original release.

As a long term fan of Micro-nationalism (The hobby of becoming the self-proclaimed leader of a self-made fake little country), this movie is perhaps the Magnum Opus of that novel principle of individual sovereignty. This is a classic British comedy starring the late, great Peter Sellars in three very different roles. As always, it comes with all sorts of supporting (or unsupportive from the protagonists' perspective) features, such as no cellular reception and a language barrier. But while he is the undisputed star of the film (I've already forgotten who else appears in it), there is so much more to like here.
