The problem is that a lot of the brands they carry have ingredients that have been PROVEN to be unhealthy for people to consume but yet they slap on a Caribbean/latino oriented cover and play it off as "down home food."

Additionally, while my family and I could probably fare well by just going down the produce aisle and possibly the bread/coffee aisle, you have to be very diligent in looking at all the ingredients in their spices. The store is not enforcing social distancing. A lot of the fresh veggies were shrink-wrapped on styrofoam trays (which I try to avoid because of the waste), but plenty items are loose (brocolli, asparagus, eggplant, peppers, cilantro...) They don't carry some of the vegetarian options I use and a few brands I like but it's good for a basic stock-up with a lot of variety and something for everyone. The store was a bit dark and there is always some kind of spill on the floor. Like your typical supermarket targeted to an immigrant community in a non-affluent neighborhood, the food options are not 100% healthy. There is definitely no option for organic food, but let's remember that not everything needs to be organic (see the list of the dirty dozen vs. the clean 15).
